A few cosmetical suggestions for the status bar to look as professional as most of uDig:
- Use a common vertical and horizontal alignment for all texts (probably centered)
- Use a common text size. The coordinate's text just became larger in 1.1.RC0. Why?
If readability is an issue, all texts need to be made larger, not just the coordinates.
- The CRS text doesn't fit into the button. Since this happens with almost all projected CRS
the button needs a larger default size.
P.S. When you are at it: UDIG-730 contains similar issues.
