    If
you are trying to use
the SDK quickstart, I didn’t get that to work either.
    If
you start from the
Project quickstart: http://udig.refractions.net/confluence/display/UDIG/Project+Quickstart
    You
can then build the
tool as described in http://udig.refractions.net/docs/BasicToolTutorial.pdf

    You
can go to IRC on the
freenode server at the #udig channel. That worked real well for me when
I was
in trouble J

    I'm
creating the plugin explained in BasisToolTutorial.pdf (Distance Tool).
When I
have to implement the ModalTool I can't locate this class:
net.refractions.udig.project.ui.tool.AbstractModalTool.

I send you the printscreen of
my problem. I don't know
what I have to do. Import more classes? Configure something in Eclipse
to
search that class?
