[tycho-user] tycho reactor order dump
|
Dear all, I am facing a difficulty when using tycho with a huge multimodules project. The reactor build order is not strict in the sense of: · If I execute mvn clean install · If it failes at an intermediate module · Maven proposes to relaunch the build with the command mvn clean install –rf :mymodule · But tycho reactor seems to compute a new reactor order which is not the same as the first one: leading to a problem of module dependency… Moreover tycho takes more than 20 mn to compute the reactor order. Do you know if there is a way to : · Dump tycho reactor order to a text file for instance · Import at the fly the propose tycho reactor order My main goal is to speed the process of the compilation by importing precompute tycho reactor order for a given project. Perhaps it is a question to ask to maven community but I have never come up with such reactor order computation time with pure maven project. That’s why I thing is could be good to have such feature in tycho given the complexity of eclipse projects. Thanks a lot for your comment / and sorry for my English. Francois
