A couple of unexpected changes I see that I don't know if or how they should be documented. I don't see them in N&N but I can add them if you want.
- I now need ".polyglot.feature.xml" in my .gitignore so jgit timestamping works.
Yes, please add a note about it in the N&N.
Also, you can maybe consider a bug about it to have those files added to the default exclusions of the jgit-timestamp-provider.
- The baseline compare and replace is now complaining about class file differences - this implies that something about the 1.6 -> 1.7 update changed how the class files are compiled. The effect is that along with upgrading tycho I need to version bump some of my bundles. I would guess this is because of the upgrade to ECJ that is mentioned in the N&N?
Yes, it's most likely ECJ change causing that.
Feel free to add a note about it as well in the N&N.
- N&N references the 1061 staged version still.
