we hope you're all doing well. As we move deeper into summer, we have two important sets of meetings coming up that we'd like to bring to your attention: the testing phase meetings for Release 26.09 and the planning sessions for Release 26.12.

Release 26.09 - Testing Phase Meetings

The test phase for R26.09 is approaching fast. Monika Jacobsen (Test Management) has scheduled the following sessions to prepare and guide everyone through the process.

Important – Opt-in/Opt-out Deadline: To be part of the release – and therefore part of the testing phase – the corresponding Release Check Issues must be created. The opt-in/opt-out phase ends on July 24, 2026.

1. Briefing Testing Phase for R26.09

• Date: Monday, August 3, 2026
• Time: 08:30 - 09:00 CEST
• Goal: Prepare for the test phase, clarify the release test process, review Release Check Issues, and discuss the deployment process.

2. Kick-Off Testing Phase for R26.09

• Date: Monday, August 17, 2026
• Time: 08:30 - 09:00 CEST
• Goal: Latest updates on the test phase and deployment status, plus an open Q&A for any questions regarding the upcoming test phase.

3. E2E Test Phase Daily for R26.09

• Dates: Daily (Monday - Friday), August 18 - September 4, 2026

• Goal: Onboarding and deployment status for 26.09 on INT environment, defect/blocker updates, and test status of all participating products.

Release 26.12 - Planning Sessions

The Eclipse Tractus-X 26.12 release continues as planned. Open-source development and work on KITs can proceed as usual. If you have no idea about our process or how to contribute, please let me know, and let's have a New Joiner Session.

• Date: Thursday, July 30, 2026

• Focus: Addressing open questions and unresolved dependencies from features planned for R26.12. Only features labeled "Open Discussion" will be considered for the agenda - the label must be added at least 3 days prior to the event.
