devs,
as we had some
discussions on Eclipse Tractus-X Help Desk tickets in our
todays office hour, I want to start a discussion.
Recap of the topic:
The GitHub organization and repositories in
eclipse-tractusx (https://github.com/eclipse-tractusx)
are managed by the Eclipse Foundation.
This means, that we
need to ask them for help, if we want to add a repository
secret like for sonarcloud for example.
The proper workflow to
get this secret created is to ask the Eclipse Foundation
for help by creating a Help Desk ticket:
https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipsefdn/helpdesk/-/issues?sort=created_date&state=opened
Since we expect a
rising number of Help Desk tickets in the near future, it
could come in handy, if we align on some details.
For example, what do
you think of using a ‘TX:’ prefix in the ticket topic, so
filtering will become easier.
Another good thing
could be, that we share ‘first time’ tickets as a
reference for others via this mailing list.
So if someone will
request a repository secret (or already has), it would be
nice, if that person could share the ticket link here.
They are all publicly accessible.

ones.
