Trace Compass project for November 2015.
New and Noteworthy:
- Added support for loading, saving and managing of LTTng
session configurations (Trace Compass 1.2/Mars.2, see [1])
- Added statistics view for System Call latencies (for Trace
Compass 2.0/Neon, see [2])
- Showing of lost event markers in time graph views such as
Control Flow view and Resources view (see [2])
- Navigation support for trace markers in time graph views (see
[2])
- Added API for trace specific markers (see [2])
Ongoing work:
- System Call Latency Analysis - Distribution Chart
- Other Types of Latency Analysis
- Start integrating data-driven pattern detection (enhanced
filtering)
- Finalize debug-info analysis, i.e. being able to map UST trace
events to source code locations using debug symbols
- Integration with LTTng Babeltrace Python analyses to be able
to output the results of these external analyses into Trace
Compass
- Remote node logs synchronization
- Investigation of RCPTT for UI testing
