Trace Compass project September 2015.
New and Noteworthy:
- Added initial, in memory implementation of a Latency Analysis
and Latency Table for analyzing system call latencies in the
Linux Kernel. This is a preliminary implementation and will be
the base for a more generic support of latency analyses for the
Linux Kernel and for user applications (for Trace Compass
2.0/Neon, see [1]).
- Support for resuming of trace index after closing trace before
indexing is finished (see [1])
- Support for filtering in Resources view (Trace Compass
1.2/Mars.2, see [2])
- Persistent filter settings in Control Flow and Resources views
for all open traces (see [2])
Ongoing work:
- Latency Analysis - Scatter Chart, additional tables
- Support for custom time graph markers
- Automatic refresh of local traces
- Integration of dependency/critical path analysis
- Support for cropping of CTF traces
