[tools-pmc] Committer Election for Phil Beauvoir on Eclipse Graphical Editing Framework™ (GEF) has started 
A committer election for Phil Beauvoir on project Eclipse Graphical Editing
Framework™ (GEF) (tools.gef) was started by Lars Vogel with this criteria:

Phil Beauvoir maintained a GEF legacy/ classic fork for this produc for a
long time now. He recently started to contribute this work back to the
Eclipse Graphical Editing Framework™ (GEF) team and has already made an
impact on the project.



He helped with the following issues as seen in the Git history:

       Remove com.ibm.icu package dependencies
       Fix thumbnail not working on Mac
       Check for possible null value to avoid NPE
       Partially revert removal of com.ibm.icu package dependencies
       Remove redundant isEnqueued() checks
       Update Tycho extensions file to 3.0.0
       Fix drag operation unwanted artifacts

He also helped reviewing patches and triaged bugs.

It is my pleasure to nominate Phil as a committer on Eclipse Graphical
