Doug, I believe it's time we make it official that he is not active anymore.
And I nominate you as Tools PMC lead :).

I'm not a good choice, I'm close to resigning my own position as more of my activities take me away from Eclipse. Might be time to review how the Tools project is structured given the new realities of it's projects.

Since Doug is unwilling, I'd like to nominate Aleksandar Kurtakov <akurtako@xxxxxxxxxx> to be Tools PMC lead.

He has been quite active lately (more than the rest of us, that is) plus he is even willing to do it!

I believe the PMC Lead is a Board Approved position, but if other PMC members would document here their approval, or not, then that would be the first step in finding out the correct process to follow.

And, I of course mean no disrespect to John Duimovich. John did a great job starting off the Tools Project -- and for that, much thanks! -- but believe his interest and focus has changed over the years and is not involved with Eclipse anymore.
John be sure you chime in if A. you have an objection and B. You are fine with no longer being "lead", but want to remain on the PMC, or C. wish to actively state your resignation.

According to https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/tools/who
these are the current members of the Tools PMC, and hence able to vote:

Alexander Kurtakov
Andrew Clement
David Williams
Doug Schaefer
Eric Clayberg
Greg Watson
Roland Grunberg
John Duimovich (currently listed as lead)

BTW, I've seen the new "PMI interface" used to vote for a project lead. Not sure if there is one for PMC lead, or not, but if anyone else knows. Let me know.
