Hi,

FWIW, BIRT is (or at least used to) be often embedded in Java Web Apps to render data. So this project isn't only targetting the Eclipse Platform stack and seems to have a wider scope than what's in Tools TLP mission. But maybe this use-case of non Eclipse Platform integration has become rare enough to ignore it and to qualify BIRT just as a tools for inside Eclipse Platform.
