I'm always a little cautious about literal major releases, but assume you, Alexander,  have been doing all the good things with respect to your community of adopters (e.g. warning them, having builds with new versioning available, etc.). No need to respond or explain those aspects of your project -- I am just being explicit on my assumptions.
