Re: [tools-pmc] Committer vote for has been approved by the PMC

There are examples where accented characters get a bit mangled, but we get lots of these and I don't recall the last time that the name field has ended up being complete blank.

I'll investigate.

Matt, in the meantime, can we just fix the record in the database?

I see the "web app" doesn't translate the "non ascitt" characters very well! (but, at least marks with "utf-8"s)
So I'll repeat here in this note:

Donát Csikós

Which I assume would end up being

Donat Csikos

in the data bases or user-id?

EMO or webmasters, do let us know how such names should be entered in the portal and/or how they end up in your system as userids

Thanks,

tools PMC Members,
This automatically generated message marks the PMC's approval of the vote
for 's full Committer status on the tools.buildship project. The next step
is for the project lead to return to the portal and fill in the VCS package
and employer information for .

The PMC's comments were: Welcome. The PMC approves this election based on
extra discussion and information exchanged on mailing lists that the
candidate's full name is

=?UTF-8?Q?Don=C3=83=C2=A1t?= =?UTF-8?Q?Csik=C3=83=C2=B3s?=

Not sure how those characters are "translated" (by this web app and the
Foundation's databases, but assume there is already a system in place for
that.

Thanks,

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your project
