Re: [tools-pmc] Request archiving Tools for Mobile Web

I believe that this is an error that occurred when the project was moved from DSDP. I've updated the database.

I think that's a portal error. IIRC, MTJ graduated several years ago. Gorkem?

Sounds good. Thanks for initiating this.

I suggest as the next step you write a short "Termination Review" proposal,
and send to Wayne, so he can circulate to community and schedule the
"review period", just to insure the right processes are followed, all is
documented, etc.

Here's one example,

And some shorter examples on the Technology wiki:
http://wiki.eclipse.org/Technology/Subproject_Termination_Review_2011
(and, a short one definitely seems appropriate for this case).

So, I believe that leaves Sequoyah itself (which has its own code and
committers, not just a contain project, right?) and one subproject, Mobile
Tools for the Java. I  was surprise to see the "incubating" logo on Mobile
Tools for Java ... after having several 1.0.x releases, I would have
thought they would have graduated. Is this a portal database error ... or,
should they initiate a graduation review as well?

Thanks again, Eric.

I would like to propose that the Tools for Mobile Web project (TMW) be
archived. TMW is a sub-project of Sequoyah that was proposed in June
2010 and was approved in September 2010. The last commit was in
October 2010 and the only activity on the mailing list has been
automated submissions from portal informing the project that their
metadata is out of date. The people behind the project have moved on
and are not interested in the technology, at least in this
incarnation, so it needs to be put to rest.

Thanks
