Kaloyan, can you elaborate a bit on what functionality is gained or lost if the
JRuby jar is present or absent. 

Also, can you characterize it in terms of previous releases? Will users of
previous releases be able to continue to use it exactly as they have, and then
in this new release, _if_ they want to install Ruby, they would get something
extra? Or is some previous function being 'replaced' be the Ruby aided code? 

Once I understand this aspect, I'll take the discussion to PMC list.
