Dear Tools PMC members,

The Memory Analyzer tool (MAT) [1] is a project under Technology which
wishes to graduate from the incubation phase.

In a discussion on the technology-pmc mailing list [2], technology PMC
members suggested that Memory Analyzer should move to the Tools top level
project after/with its graduation. The committers of MAT agree with this
proposal and would welcome such a move.

As a project lead of MAT I would like to ask about the opinion of the Tools
PMC members about this suggestion. Will such a move be accepted by the
Tools project? Do you have any particular comments about the suggestion,
or questions about the MAT project? What is any further information you
would like to have?
