Hello,
I have a question about the capability of Netx Duo. I have an architecture where there is a cortex M7 connected to a micro chip KSZ9477 layer 2 managed switch. I need to have three ports
on the switch look like three separate networks. The concept to do this is to have the M7 and Netx respond to 3 IP Addresses. In Linux or FreeBSD this could be done with IP Aliasing. I do not see any thing in the Netx documentation or code that gives guidance.
It looks like each IP Address must be associated with a separate network interface.
- Can Netx Duo support IP Aliasing or be easily modified to do so?
- This approach will also need to have 3 VLANS, each with a separate IP Address. The switch supports tagged and untagged VLANs, but it is unclear to
me if Netx supports VLANs. I see VLAN support in the code, but not in the documentation.
If this is not the proper place to ask for support for this, could you please indicate the proper channel to ask for support.
