[theia-dev] Technical Improvements - Collections of suggestions

Hi,

As discussed in this week's dev meeting, we want to collect suggestions on areas we could/should technically improve in the project. This is explicitly not about features but about:

- Removing technical debt

- Necessary refactorings

- Architecture improvements

- Infrastructure of process optimizations

In the first step, we want to collect and vote on ideas. We will discuss them step by step in our weekly calls then based on your input. So please add everything that comes to your mind here and vote on existing topics:
