I'll investigate. When we implemented this, we were trying to be sensitive to how many emails we were sending out, but I'm pretty sure that we should be sending out a "committer vote was successful" message.

There was an email announcing the election started, and another one stating that it was successful and that PMC shall approve this.
There was no email confirming this approval happened so I thought maybe it's stuck.

AFAICT we received the committer paperwork and the committer provisioning process was completed on February 3. The new committer is listed on the project's "Who's Involved" page. They should be up and running.

What problem are you seeing?
