OK, so we will have two update sites – one with EPL features on eclipse.org and another with non-EPL features on polarion.org. Plus we will put description about licenses, as you proposed. This solution isn’t user friendly, but from another side it’s not very complicated.

 

Today I submitted two new items to IPZilla: https://dev.eclipse.org/ipzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1648 and https://dev.eclipse.org/ipzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1649. First related to SVNKit (pure Java SVN client) - it will be good if Eclipse legal team can review its license, so probably we can find the way how to use it under EPL terms. Second is SVN library interfaces, which should be approved separately as we follow the way to split Subversive distribution on two parts (eclipse.org and polarion.org).

Igor,
I'm note sure we've been completely clear on what is and is not allowed at this moment. So let me clear:

• The Subversive project may _not_ have a site.xml on eclipse.org pointing to features on polarion.org (or other non-eclipse.org sites).
• The Subversive project _must_ have English prose on the Subversive downloads page on eclipse.org that explains that one of the clients is required for operation and that the clients have different non-EPL licenses and that the user will want to check those licenses before downloading. Additionally, the English prose will provide the URL to the polarion.org update site containing those non-EPL clients.
