Please pay attention to the wording: "scale length with geometry"
should remain enabled to avoid overlapping! Otherwise vehicles
will overlap if edge length mismatches the actual geometry...

Hello,
I have done that as well; a vehicle scale of 1 and
disabling scale length with geometry but the vehicles still
look overlapped.
I have attached a snapshot of how the overlapping looks
like.
Thank you,
Lorain.

Hi Lorain,
if you can rule out vehicle visualisation (vehicle scale
should be 1), then another reason can be an (apparently
unvoluntary) edge length-geometry mismatch. Usually the
vehicle lengths are scaled to maintain the relative size
with respect to the edge but that can be disabled. You can
read more about that in the documentation.
Best regards,

Hello,
I am doing a microsimulation of a road network, and
when I run my SUMO configuration, the cars appear to
be as if they are overlapping. I have tried tweaking
the minimum gap, the car following model, and the
vehicles visualization settings, but nothing seems to
work so far. Do you have any insights into what might
be causing this issue? And the solution to it?
