Re: [sumo-user] Creating candiate stops file for gtfs2pt.py for edited networks

If you still have access to the original network or can recreate a similar network anew from OSM, you can use https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Tools/Net.html#remap_additionalspy
This will map the OSM stops to your edited network.

Hello,

I'm working on improving the import of public transport stops for an existing network using the gtfs2pt.py script, specifically with the --stops option as some stops are not correctly assigned to their edges.

The original network was created using the OSM Web Wizard, but since then it has been heavily edited. As a result, the automatically generated osm_stops.add.xml file no longer aligns with the current state of the network and is out of date.

Is there a way to (re)create a compatible file of candidate stops for an already existing and geo-referenced network?

Apologies if I missed something in the documentation.

Thanks, and best regards,

Jakob
