Re: [sumo-user] Issue with FCD Output – Incorrect Traces on Bing Maps

Are you sure the Bing Maps layer is a good reference? It seems a bit too simplified to deal with varying road widths...If we assume the Bing Maps background as valid, there are other points to check:

  • the SUMO network itself: has it been projected / built correctly with the needed precision
  • is the mapping of the FCD output to Bing Maps precise enough?

Best regards,

Mriko

Dear SUMO Community,
I am encountering an issue with the FCD output. When projecting the lat/lon coordinates on Bing Maps, the traces seem to go outside the road network. Has anyone experienced a similar problem or have suggestions for resolving this? Are there alternative approaches I can follow?
I have attached a screenshot for your reference.
Thank you in advance for your help!
Best regards,
Manohara C V
