Re: [sumo-user] emissions output - normalised value

Hi Natalia,
can you please give an example, because it should be exactly as you stated. If you have an interval length of one hour, dividing the absolute emissions
by the edge length should give the normalized emissions.

Best regards,
Michael

Hi,

In SUMO documentation the definition of normalised emissions is given
(https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Simulation/Output/Lane-_or_Edge-based_Emissions_Measures.html)

It is referred that normalised emissions are the emissions during this
interval normed by time and edge length (g/km/hour).

In case I divide the absolute values (in mg) with the edge of the
length (during one hour) I do not get the normalised values. Could
you please clarify how normalised emissions are estimated and what
exactly represent?

Thank you

Natalia
