Re: [sumo-user] Calibration of models.

As far as I can tell, cadyts calibration is quite general insofar it relies on some intermediate software to generate alternative "plans" for the agents. These plans would typically consist of taking some alternative route and maybe varying the departure time but might also be interpreted as taking "another car" and thus varying the vehicle parameters.
The intermediate software SUMO/tools/assign/cadytsIterate.py only uses alternative routes and depart times.

In case of cadyts, does it calibrate vehicle parameters as well? What things does it change to get as close to the real flow as possible?

SUMO includes no tool to perform callibration from this data in a principled way.
You could probably hack something up that does hillclimbing or random sampling with varying parameters (traffic amount or vType parameters) to approach your measurement data.

Is there a way to calibrate models if I don't have real flow values. Just travel time in different edges and routes during different timings?

Thanking you in advance,
