Hello,

ensure that

- the edge of lane z is part of y's route

- y has not yet passed that edge (or at least the edge comes up again)

- if y is already on that edge, it dos not have yet passed the endPos of x

Often that problem can be fixed by rerouting the vehicle so it will pass z
