[sdv-wg] Join us at the Open Community for Automotive at OCX

Dear SDV Community,

From 21–23 April 2026, developers, architects, OEMs, Tier 1s, and industry leaders will gather in Brussels for Open Community Experience (OCX).

As part of OCX, the Open Community for Automotive collocated event brings together the global open source ecosystem, shaping the future of software-defined vehicles (SDVs). The agenda explores how open collaboration powers mobility innovation across operating systems, full software stacks, over-the-air updates, cloud integration, safety, security, and governance.

This conference is especially relevant for those working on SDV architectures, in-vehicle platforms, toolchains, AI-assisted engineering, homologation, compliance, and the transformation toward software-centric automotive development.

Featured sessions include:

  • Diagnostics reimagined: How Eclipse OpenSOVD powers open collaboration and standard evolution by Thilo Schmitt and Alexander Mohr (Mercedes-Benz Tech Innovation)

  • Fifty shades of SDV: A blueprint-driven roadmap for orchestration adoption by Naci Dai (Eteration) and Oliver Kral (Elektrobit Automotive GmbH)

OCX 2026 places automotive in direct conversation with AI, compliance, tooling, security, and open source governance, reflecting the reality that SDV development does not happen in isolation. It requires cross-industry collaboration, shared standards, and sustainable open ecosystems.

To recognise your contributions to the SDV ecosystem, I’m pleased to share an exclusive discount code for OCX 2026. Use the code SDV20 at registration to receive an additional 20% discount on top of the already reduced rates, available until 16 March 2026.
