Dear SDV Community,
Â
As we eagerly await the Eclipse S-CORE 0.5 release and gear up for our December community meetups in South Korea and Japan, itâs no small feat keeping up with the flurry of activity within the Eclipse SDV ecosystem â let alone the ever-evolving world of SDV at large. Thatâs exactly why we put together this quarterly newsletter: to keep you (and, letâs be honest, ourselves!) in the loop on all the latest happenings, highlights, and milestones.
Â
As we are all in the midst of mapping out 2026, weâre thrilled to share one of the biggest highlights on next yearâs SDV calendar: the Open Community for Automotive (OCA), held alongside the Open Community Experience (OCX), in Brussels on 21-23 April. After the resounding success of OCA 2024, weâve had ample time to craft the next chapter, and trust me, itâs shaping up to be bigger, bolder, and even more inspiring. OCA and OCX will bring together a vibrant mix of communities â Automotive, AI, Compliance, Research, Tooling, and more. One thingâs for sure: you wonât be staying in your SDV bubble for long! And the best news is: the call for proposals is open until 13 November, so there's still time for you to actively shape the program.
Â
To give you a sneak peek at the kinds of topics waiting for you at this festival of open technologies, weâve lined up a week-long webinar series you can enjoy from the comfort of your home. And yes, automotive fans, youâre in for a treat: the automotive program kicks off this morning/afternoon with an exciting session on Eclipse OpenSOVD.
Â
See you there!
