Voting will close on 2024-10-09 for the Committer election of Michael Schwarzbach on project Eclipse SCM (automotive.scm). Criteria: Hereby, we nominate Michael Schwarzbach for an Eclipse Committer Election. He is the main responsible for the SCM development within BMW and is the designated maintainer of the Eclipse SCM project and community. He was heavily involved in preparing and conducting the initial upload of SCM (https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipse/scm/scm/-/merge_requests/2). Further he contributed to the setup of the CI (e.g. https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipse/scm/scm/-/commit/52f20db1e5c1596ca4e89f909c3eecbe4b322a65, https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipse/scm/scm/-/commit/ab25393bf91e286b363fb6fd9e5fa0ade15b7949, https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipse/scm/scm/-/commit/bd7ad9723a8bbde8383e860ab4f081183ab12885). As such, he significantly contributed to the project's objectives and will continue to do so. Moreover, Michael brings a sound understanding of the ASAM simulation standards and is also familiar with the implementations of the Eclipse openPASS project.
