    as promised, here's the short summary of the Science WG posters.
    They will show how Eclipse RCP is used as a framework and a rich
    frontend within a broad range of different scientific topics. A
    variety of research facilities and companies use the Eclipse
    platform to simulate and visualize their results within a specific
    scope. It demonstrates impressively that the Eclipse RCP technology
    is an important part of the scientific/research community nowadays.
    Moreover, it is a fantastic and interesting area for developers
    (especially for those at the EclipseCon Europe) who like to
    experience something completely new. Science isn't as boring as it
    seems :-)! Anyhow, only a small selection of projects will present a
