Hi all,

recently, Michael and Deepak complained about performance issues of the call chain completion. Stefan signed up to hunt them down. Thanks for that, Stefan!

[1] is the corresponding bug report. It contains a list of change requests that should be addressed by the updated implementation. If you have more items that should be considered, please add them there.
