Re: [rdf4j-dev] 3.1.0 tentative release schedule

Sounds good,  thanks Havard.

Fwiw I picked up that they're changing the way we're supposed to upload to the eclipse download site. I didn't get to the bottom of it but you might want to run a test to see if ftp still works. I'll try and find more details about the plans and post  them here.

Cheers,

Jeen

I propose we line up a 3.0.4 release on Friday this week. Looking at the milestone on github there are a couple minor bug fixes that we could easily release.

I can handle the release. The script makes that process rather painless.

I think another  milestone makes sense,  that also gives me a bit more time to get the ip log approved and the release review scheduled.

Let's push back final release to Feb 6, and do a milestone on Jan 16.

Hi,

regarding the FedX CQ there was actually a status update just yesterday: the Eclipse team commented that it is now up for review and should be resolved shortly. Let's see. For reference: https://dev.eclipse.org/ipzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=20667

Would it make sense to have one more milestone build for 3.1? Just to make sure that the artifacts are produced correctly, particularly because we adjusted the packaging of the rdf4j-server.war and rdf4j-workbench.war? What do you think?

I remember that Jeen was mentioning January 16th (or something like this) as a tentative release date. Is this still the target?

Best,
 Andreas

Hi,

How are things looking for our release plan? FedX CQ approved?

Anything that needs more hands for 3.1 that I could help with? Admittedly first week back from holidays has hit me hard, suddenly no lazy morning programming :P

 Hi Jeen,

I agree that it makes sense at this point in time to make a milestone release. The new integrations seem to be pretty stable already and I would like to do some validations with a proper build.

Best,

Hi folks,

I've stuck January 16 on as a tentative release date for 3.1.0. Of course we're still block by the FedX CQ's final approval, but perhaps sticking a release date on things and pointing at that will help get things moving.

I'd like to get develop in a state ready for a first milestone build  before Christmas. This does not have to be feature-complete but I'd like FedX working and documented and the ElasticSearch store documented as well, at the very least.

Let's see if we can make this happen.

Jeen
