Re: [qvtd-dev] QVTd M1

Hi Ed,

You can include QVTd asanchez/mtc into master.

OCL and QVTd setups improvements pushed to master.

Adolfo.

Hi Ed,

Apologies if you don't see apparent progress, but I've been lately dealing with different distractions. Currently, I'm setting up everything on a fresh OS, since I finally got a self-managed machine, on which I can handle what gets installed, etc. I hopefully expect some improvements in productivity since working with Eclipse (with the OS in general) on my previous system was getting incredibly slow

Since I'm setting up from scratch, I'm also re-testing oomph files. I'll file a bugzilla with comments. Apparently, just ocl.build got compilation errors (related to that Bug 472086), which make me think that perhaps I should bring some QVTd stuff to the target platform (TP). After updating (advance/fast forward) branches, the compilation errors disappear. Xtext test cases, both standalone and plugin launch, work. Good. Regardless of the optional dependency con qvtd plugins, I think I'll include the required QVTd plugins in the TP because an OCL developer will need them to make the CS2AS tooling work, anyway.

I'll put some comments about that 472086 later on and have a look to the QVTd branches I've got around.

Regards,
Adolfo.

Hi Adolfo

M1 is on the horizon.

The Bug 472086 commits hopefully sort out the dependency problems allowing OCL's AutoAS launch to use OCL2QVTi when it is available without causing problems when it isn't. The launch makes useful progress but fails in an Epsilon script. I've lost track of whether this is my problem or yours.

You appear to have a couple of branches that might have useful contributions to master. Please rebase on master if they're ready.

I will defer the major OCL 2.5 model changes till after M1, so that M1 should be a fairly clean Mars upgrade.
