Sorry for the slow response; I had to actually search through the
editor code to figure out what's going on here.  These are hard-coded
to be black.  I'm not sure why... there isn't a preference to change
this, but there should be.  If you will file a bug report (click on
"Report a Bug" on the Photran web site), I'll make sure we look at
this before Photran 7.
