I would be interested in such an option as well.
The problem in my case is that the project for the starting page 
contains symbolic links to various other projects which in Eclipse are 
checked out themselves. When symbolic links are followed all those other 
projects are basically build twice, once when the symlink is following 
and once for their own seperate project.
