Title: PDT branches

Hi All,

In order to preserve the stability of the PDT code towards the upcoming release we will start working in braches.

The workflow is that we keep our main development in the head and merge only changes that are critical to the current release to the branch.

The release build will be created from the branch.

The naming convention of the branches is R*versionNumber*_*branchNumber*_*yyyymmdd*.

The first branch is R1_0_0_20070705
