Re: [paho-dev] Paho 1.3 Release

Frank,

that's great news.  Thanks to both you and Guilherme for this.  Now I think we're just waiting on Al for the Go client release to be finalized (not that I was rushing any one, I'd rather it was the right time!).

Now we need to update the website if necessary: the specific client page (https://www.eclipse.org/paho/clients/cpp/) and the Paho component overview (https://www.eclipse.org/paho/downloads.php).

James and/or I will update the client overview page for all components.

Ian

OK, sorry for the delay. The Paho C++ Library v1.0.0 is all wrapped up...

Special thanks to Guilherme Maciel Ferreira for doing much of the difficult stuff the last few months.

Hello,

just to let everyone know that the Paho 1.3 release is scheduled for Wednesday 28th June, simultaneously with the rest of Eclipse Oxygen. Pierre has already released the Python client. James has the Java and Android clients ready to go. I'll be ready with the C client. I know Tomoaki's MQTT-SN gateway and Kamil's mqtt-spy are essentially ready too. It's not going to be a problem for any other components to follow on afterwards if necessary, you can let me know.

However, I'm on vacation (at the Glastonbury festival) from tomorrow until Tuesday 27th, and James is helping out IBM at the Wimbledon tennis tournament, so his available time varies, in case you wonder why we don't respond this week.
