[paho-dev] Feature proposal: Automatic Reconnect and offline buffering for Java clients

Hi Everyone,

Firstly, thank you very much to everyone who's voted for me to become a committer, I'm definitely looking forward to it (assuming I'm successful)!

I've submitted a Feature on Bugzilla & GitHub issues (To make sure there was visibility whilst we are in the middle of migrating) for Automatic reconnect and offline buffering in the Java client.

These features seem to be quite sought after and I think they will improve the developer experience for the Java client quite a bit!

https://github.com/eclipse/paho.mqtt.java/issues/9

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=486843

The enhancements would mean a number of changes to the MqttClient and MqttAsyncClient Classes as well as the MqttCallback Interface, so I want to make sure that I'm going about this the right way. If anybody has any comments or questions, they would be greatly appreciated!

Kind regards,
