Re: [paho-dev] Python client submission

Hi Mike,

That'd be great, thanks. I did find http://wiki.eclipse.org/Naming_Conventions but it's very Java oriented.

Cheers,

Roger

But we do have naming rules that all Eclipse projects should follow. I don't have them handy. I'll try to find them tomorrow.

That's a great question, and we should have the discussion on the bugzilla tracking bug just for transparency. I don't think we've arrived at a "one choice for Paho" namespace yet - it has been debated in terms of Java / Maven too. I'm inclined to think Paho and MQTT should be included in the naming.

Hi,

The Python client submission has passed the initial CQ, with some
minor changes needed:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=403956

One of the changes that isn't mentioned is the naming of the module
and functions, which are currently all mosquitto*.  I presume that
this does want changing! What should I change it to? Paho?

Cheers,

Roger
