Hi,
We rely on the publisher to do our build. This means that we discover 
flaws in it which is good. It also means that we suffer from those 
flaws, which of course is bad. We cope by patching our own build system 
until the patches get applied but that's cumbersome in the long run. 
It's also insecure since we cannot be certain that the patches are 
accepted and applied in the end.

I know you're all overloaded with work but I would like to ask you 
anyway. Can someone please have a look at these two and commit them 
before they get stale?

.pack.gz files
