Meeting Minutes 22 July 2026

Qt Dark Mode PR

The PR is almost ready to be merged. Edgar and Eric ran multiple tests on different platforms (Windows and Linux) with good results. Eric would like to perform a few additional tests before merging the branch back into main.

Progress Review

Eclipse Foundation members created a work item in GitLab to track the current project progress review.

At the moment, no action is required from the project team. PMC approval and IP review are still pending. Once the review is successfully completed and the Dark Mode PR is finalized, the first minor release (version 0.9.2) should be made available.

Open Discussion

After the minor release is published, the focus will shift to addressing the remaining open issues. However, no major new features are currently planned. Later in the current semester, the team should begin discussions and planning for the first major release.

Edwin asked whether OpenXilEnv supports multicore systems. Eric responded affirmatively and provided some additional explanation.
