Good morning Everyone,

thank you for attending the call.

The next meeting is Fri 29/11 @ 9 AM GMT. (Invite attached.)
Lint to the next Skype call: https://meet.lync.com/tcdud/codecal/VUR56F6L

I'm sharing the document with the draft of our idea. If you want to access it, please send me an email to lara.codeca@xxxxxx and it will be granted.

Actionable items for 29/11:
  • Find a leader for the proposal
  • Read and discuss the shared document
Attendees:
  • Lara Codeca
  • Vinny Cahill
  • Marco Jahn
  • Christoph Sommer
  • Michele Segata
  • Jeorge Luzuriaga
  • Michael Behrisch
  • Zoltan Baksa
  • Jerome Haerri
  • Robert Protzmann
Unfortunately, today I lost access to the logs of the skype call. I'm sure I missed someone, but I cannot check. If I missed you, apologies. Feel free to rectify it in the email thread.

Agenda discussed today:
  • find possible cities that are willing to partner up with us
  • write a brief document containing the 'topic', 'objectives', and 'impact' for the overarching story
  • decide who would be willing to lead the proposal
Important points made:
  • We still don't have someone that volunteered for the coordination role.
  • We have possible cities that may be interested (Berlin, Dublin, Hamburg, Trento..) but we need to have a proposal in order to talk with them and find the extent of their interest and support.
  • We need to find credible industrial partners, and possibly not only one or more cities but a regional administration that is willing to partner up with us.
Apologies if I forgot something, feel free to add it by replying to the thread.

See you next week!

Best Regards,
Lara

Dear All,

Following you can find a brief minute of the call with actionable items for next week.
Please, correct me if any of it is wrong or unclear.

Actionable items for 22/11:
  • find possible cities that are willing to partner up with us
  • write a brief document containing the 'topic', 'objectives', and 'impact' for the overarching story
  • decide who would be willing to lead the proposal
15/11 Attendees:
  • Robert Hilbrich
  • Li Jiao
  • Robert Protzmann
  • Baksa Zoltan
  • Jerome Haerri
  • Christoph Sommer
  • Michele Segata
  • Jeorge Luzuriaga
  • Vincent Latzko
  • Marco Jahn
  • Vinny Cahill
  • Lara Codeca
Important points made:
  • What is going to be the link between the H2020 project and the openMobility group?
    • A proposal based on the user stories as a means to get the resources required to implement them
    • An overarching story that is going to give a direction to the efforts of the last year, where the user stories can be seen as smaller implementable items.
  • Possible direction(s) for the proposal (and improvements in the tools required):
    • electric mobility, delivery of goods, shuttles and shared rides services
    • traffic management, congestion mitigation, and intelligent routing
    • mobility-on-demand services at scale
    • creation of a digital twin city to be used as a platform for the evaluation
      • a real-world scenario that would enable the demonstration of the proposed solution(S) at scale
  • Requirements and important notes:
    • It's required an international consortium of partners with industries, universities, and local administrations.
    • The innovation action for LC-MG-1-12-2020 is a two-stage call. The deadline on the 9/1/20 requires a sorter document focused on the storyline.
    • the DLR does not have resources to commit until the end of 2020
    • Proposed local administrations to contact are Berlin, Dublin and the Principality of Monaco.
Apologies if I forgot anything, feel free to add them by replying to the thread.

See you next week!

Best Regards,
Lara

Hello everyone,

I do agree with Michael, given the number of people that replied to this thread, his plan of preparing ideas and discussing them together is a good one.
Unfortunately, I don't know if I can attend the next openMobility meeting due to a full day eval of my lab. I need to keep my full day free.
Nonetheless,  I don't want to miss the opportunity to discuss it.

Do the other people interested in this thread would be willing to add a separate meeting explicitly for the H2020 call?
If so, I'll set up a doodle to make it happen.

Best regards,
Lara

Hi all,

we would also be interested in the call and since the interest seems to be broad, we could just discuss this on our next openMobility meeting. Maybe everyone who wants to join can prepare one or two ideas how to contribute here until then?

Best regards,

Michael
