The OpenHW Foundation is currently seeking nominations to fill elected positions on its two governing bodies; the Steering Committee and the Technical Advisory Committee. These committees play a crucial role in the strategy and direction of the OpenHW Foundation.
Nomination Eligibility:
Participant Members:
All individuals who are employed by an organisation that is a Participant member of OpenHW Foundation may stand for election. The current Participant Members of the working group can be viewed here.
Election Schedule

Nomination Process:
Nominations can be made by any member of the OpenHW Foundation (including self-nominations) by sending an email to this mailing list. Self nominations are encouraged!
Please indicate which committee (Steering or Technical Advisory) the nomination is for. You can also nominate for both.
Nominees are strongly encouraged to include a short bio highlighting their relevant experience.
If you are nominating someone else, please confirm that they are willing to stand for election.
Note; Each Member may have at most one individual stand for election to any particular committee.
Election Process
After the nomination period closes, the list of candidates will be confirmed and announced.
Ballots will then be distributed to all Participant Member Organizations via email (one ballot per organization).
The election will follow the Eclipse Foundation's "Single Transferable Vote" method, as outlined in the Eclipse Foundation Bylaws.
The winning candidates will be announced on this mailing list after the voting period closes.
