Hello OpenHW Member Reps - thank you for returning your email ballot to vote in our Chair positions for the OpenHW Cores Task Group. We had ~85% voting turnout with 31 of 37 eligible ballots returned with votes cast for our Chair roles and only 1 abstaining ballot cast (6 unreturned ballots).
26 votes for Arjan Bink, Silicon Laboratories, Central R&D;
25 votes for Jérôme Quévremont, Thales Research & Technology; and
9 votes for Liu Chang, Alibaba Group / Pintouge Semiconductor.
Congratulations to Arjan who has been elected Chair and to Jérôme who has been elected Vice-Chair of the OpenHW Group Task Group. We send a special thank you for Liu for his interest in the Chair position. This coming week we will host a training session for all WG/TG leaders to help onboard them into their new roles.
