Dear ORC community,
The Call for Proposals for Open Community Experience 2027 (OCX27) is now open. OCX27 takes place 13 to 15 April 2027 in Brussels, organised by the Eclipse Foundation.
The cybersecurity & regulatory compliance track is where compliance work gets shared. The program committee is looking for sessions such as:
- Taking Cyber Resilience Act requirements from product design through CI/CD and release engineering
- Ingesting and validating SBOMs and wiring VEX into CI/CD
- Auditing data provenance, models and MLOps pipelines for EU AI Act compliance
The Digital autonomy & technological sovereignty track has a block on handling CRA post-market compliance while keeping alert volumes manageable, and one on what global regulation means in practice for open source projects.
The committee wants talks grounded in real experience: a working implementation, a lesson learned the hard way, or practical knowledge other teams can use. Manufacturers, open source stewards, SMEs, legal and compliance people, researchers and first-time speakers are all welcome.
