Dear ORC community,
With mandatory reporting obligations for manufacturers and Open Source stewards taking effect in just 15 days (Sept. 11), we have prepared a dedicated GitHub feedback space to ensure the Single Reporting Platform reflects the real-world needs of our community.
Our goal is to identify operational bottlenecks early and propose practical solutions that simplify compliance for all stakeholders.
What we are doing in this space:
Gathering feedback: Collecting technical friction points, edge cases, and user experiences from the open source community.
Analysing challenges: Grouping common issues to understand regulatory and technical impact.
Proposing solutions: Formulating actionable, community-led recommendations to streamline reporting workflows.
