The finalists are in, and it’s time to choose our ORC Community Mascot! You have one week to review the designs and vote for your favourite.
When considering your choice, please keep in mind:
All designs follow the original brief and align with our brand strategy.
We may adjust colours and contrasts to better fit ORC’s brand palette and ensure accessibility.
The mascot will be used mainly for stickers, t-shirts, and social media posts—not for formal materials like white papers.
Your votes will guide the decision, and they make a real difference. At the same time, our in-house design team will make the final call on details to ensure the chosen mascot is ready for all the ways we’ll use it.

We’re excited to announce that we’re creating an official Open Regulatory Compliance Mascot, and you get to help choose the winner!
ORC works in serious areas like cybersecurity, compliance, and evolving regulations, but we also want to bring some personality to our brand. Given our acronym, we thought it would be fun to create an Orc mascot—one that’s approachable, cute, and just a little bit nerdy.
We’re running the contest through 99designs, a global design platform where professional designers submit creative concepts based on our brief. Multiple designers are already at work, each bringing their own style and interpretation of the ORC mascot.How it works:
Now – August 18: Designers submit their mascot concepts.
August 18: We’ll share the top finalists with the ORC community.
Your role: Once the finalists are announced, you’ll have the chance to vote for your favourite design.
August 25: Voting will close, and your input will help us decide the winner.
After that, we’ll work with the winning designer to finalise the mascot, and you’ll start seeing it appear on stickers, t-shirts, and other fun community items.
We can’t wait to see which design our community chooses to represent ORC!
