Dear open regulatory compliance community,
Please note that all ORC WG open meetings scheduled for next week are cancelled due to the summer break.
That said, this does not mean the working group’s activity is on hold. Several important discussions and contributions are ongoing asynchronously, including:
Open Source Stewards and the CRA white paper – part of the vulnerability handling task force activity. Check this pull request. Contributors are more than welcome, since the document skeleton is progressing. Feel free to interact either in the PR or through the mailing list.
Deliverable 3.3 - Voluntary security attestations - Mathias from GitHub sent an email a few days ago about this deliverable, if this is a topic you are interested in contributing to please reply to his email.
Events – Besides the Code and Compliance event we are organizing, there is a huge number of events in the second half of the year that will count with ORC representatives. Please reach out to us (Shanda and me) to help with the promotion of the talks and the events.
Please continue engaging through the mailing list and the usual channels. Regular meetings will resume on August 14th with the vulnerability handling task force, August 18th with the SIG call, and Friday 22nd with the FAQ task force.
