# Session setup Hybrid: * At room 5 at the EclipseCon 2022 venue in Ludwigsburg, GE * Through video chat (see calendar invitation) The session started at 13:20 until 14:00 CEST on Oct 27th
## Participants * Amit (video) * Ettore * Andrei * Stefan * Agustin * Zyga joined at 13:30 (video) ## Agenda 1. Expansion of the PMC 2. Understanding the need for new repo for V&V 3. Were the ECA issues related to changed email addresses solved? 4. AOB related to release ### PMC expansions * We have had a couple of meetings where acquiring quorum was a challenge. * We need more active members. * Amit proposed to have one or two more members from other orgs. * Agustin suggests keeping the current number but electing those who can put time into community management and coordination. * Discussion about the situation of the different PMC members, their involvement and how we can improve the situation. Elections are the best way forward. Andrei G. will take the action to talk to every PMC member to evaluate their future
involvement and willingness to continue in the PMC. ### V&V new repo * It was approved unanimously. * The V&V team can choose the name - Andrei to coordinate the creation of the repo. * There is a request for a test plan. * Discussion about the implications of this request. * Andrei to sync with the team for the current progress on testing and results - eg. checkbox tests. ### ECA issues * Summary from Andrei about the current situation with the issues detected.
Stefan and Andrei hope that the problems are understood and have an idea of how to solve them after talking with EF IT and learnt how the checks are implemented in GitLab. * We should have been unblocked of any struggles generated by the new update, change of emails, etc. * There is a task on Sebastien to implement a measure to detect issues on the pipelines of this nature earlier. * The team is not aware of any current limitations anymore. More information will be provided as part of the last IT meeting minutes. ### AoB #### Oniro 2.0 release * Mid of Nov (15th) will be the release. Andrei explains the process. * Discussion about capacity needed for the build infra. openharmony is very intensive on memory consumption without cache. * Switch on the pipelines migration will be after the release. * Mid-November might be challenging for some teams. There is a plan to mitigate such reservations * The testing results and service are the subjects of questions and comments. * Git tags gpg signed by EF IT. * Andrei to check OSTC IT infrastructure with Davide/Jarek to make sure that we are not pushed into pipeline migrations before the release. We want to postpone that until after the release to avoid any blocking/delaying issues. * Andrei to sync with the IP team for who/what/where SBOM artefact generation for the release. #### Permissions granularity in EF infrastructure * No progress made.
