It's been a while...
Jakarta EE 11 Web Profile is released, so it is time to get the supporting release of Jakarta MVC out as well as plan for (hopefully) inclusion in Jakarta EE 12.
The following two action points should take care of this:
1. Release Jakarta MVC 3.0 + Eclipse Krazo 4.0
I am currently running the TCK with GlassFish 8.0.0-M10. There are some failures, but I think it should be possible to solve them without too much effort.
2. Create a Plan for Jakarta MVC 3.1 + Eclipse Krazo 4.1
We don't have much in the pipeline, but just to be sure that MVC can be a candidate for inclusion in Web Profile, I would like to get a plan defined and approved with these items:
- Align with Jakarta EE 12 versions of dependent specifications
- Issues, and clarifications from the issue tracker
- Consider the use of Jakarta Config (if applicable)
It may be that we can do it with a service release (3.0.1). If that is the case, we will cancel the plan.
